About M. Bruce Johnson, M.D.

Dr. Bruce Johnson graduated as Valedictorian from David Lipscomb College with a B.S. in Biology in December of 1979. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1984 and received the AOA Distinguished Graduate Award.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 1987 and then served as Chief Medical Resident for one year. Dr. Johnson completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee in 1990 and then entered private practice in Little Rock.
He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Johnson is married and has two children. He is a member of Fellowship Bible church and enjoys golfing, running, and watching sporting events.

I got great care from Dr johnson,and he has a great bedside manner.
I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is always nice, they are always quick getting people in and out for appointments. Dr. Johnson is a wonderful doctor.
Great doctor. Thorough, caring, and knowledgeable.
I left Dr. Johnson's office feeling very pleased. His staff is cheerful and efficient. I hardly had to wait at all. Most importantly, Dr. Johnson's calmly efficient thoroughness in reviewing my medical history and assessing that no procedure will be necessary for another few years was a surprisingly upbeat conclusion. I wish more healthcare providers were as thorough and confidence-inspiring!
Staff is polite, quick and efficient. Dr Johnson has great bedside manner. He fully explains things in an easy to understand way. Dr Johnson also laid out a clear treatment plan that made sense based on my situation.
