Find a ProviderWhat is infusion therapy?
The term "infusion" or "infusion therapy" refers to administering medications and/or fluids directly into a patient's vein. This process is also referred to as intravenous or IV therapy. Infusion, intravenous, or injectable methods of medication administration are typically utilized if pill/oral medications are unavailable, inappropriate, or insufficient. Several of the latest medications are biologic (made or derived from living cells) and cannot be ingested via the mouth, like a pill, as they will not remain effective once exposed to the digestive system. Biologic medications are often prescribed to treat inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, in addition to other autoimmune disorders. I love Dr. Gibson and her approach to my care! The staff is awesome, and the facility is nice and clean. I highly recommend it.
I had 2 procedures done and I had the best experience. I had a panic attack before going in. The nurses let my husband come back and sit with me. The nurses gave me all the reassurance, confidence, and care. I had another anxiety attack as they were putting me to sleep and everyone in the room was so nice and caring. Dr Pennington was attentive and kept me updated through everything.
Very good experience with Dr. Wardlaw. Answer lots of questions, easy to understand. Not pleased with end results of tests, but couldn’t be helped. Hopefully will have more success next time. High recommend this GI doctor
I'm usually seen on schedule and the staff are welcoming and a pleasure to conduct business with. Dr. Johnson is thorough and I trust and respect him. I highly recommend this facility and their services.
This was my initial visit and I was very pleased with the staff and Dr Kakati. I feel like my concerns were heard, addressed and taken seriously.
